A violent storm drove Alex and Mia’s yacht off course while they were sailing. They washed ashore on an island that wasn’t shown on any map after hours of battling the surf. With creatures that seemed to be from another planet and vegetation that shone at night, the island was lush and colourful.
They came across talking birds with bright plumage, giant fireflies that illuminated the forest like lanterns, and rainbow-scaled reptiles as they explored. They quickly came to the conclusion that they were on the fabled Island of Forgotten Creatures, a region assumed to be a myth that is home to fictional or extinct flora and creatures.
However, the island was in jeopardy. An ancient prophesy from the island’s guardian spirit warned that only individuals with pure hearts could preserve it from an impending great storm. Alex and Mia set out to locate the Spirit Stone, the island’s source of protection, since they were determined to save the animals they had come to love.
They located the stone in the middle of a thick forest with the aid of light fireflies and talking birds. They fulfilled the prophesy and prevented the island from being destroyed by using the Spirit Stone when the storm was at its worst. Though they knew the truth in their hearts, they brought home a tale that no one would believe.
